Our operation is seeking a sous chef that has prior experience in a commercial kitchen and can prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications. You must have the ability to work in a busy, fast paced work environment that is very team oriented and requires a positive attitude while at work. Responsibilities: -Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers. -Prepare and cook food for service in cooperation with the kitchen team and to the exact chef’s specifications. -Maintain a clean work station. -Use various kitchen equipment and utensils. -Ensure the food comes out simultaneously, in a high quality and timely fashion. -Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff. -Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations as well as safety standards.
