The sales representative is in constant interaction with customers, offers a friendly and courteous service while explaining the benefits of an article and meeting their needs and expectations. This role also includes maintaining the store such as restocking the shelves, in-store presentation and general maintenance. • Provide excellent customer service to all customers entering the store. • Guide customers to the location of requested items. • Know the location of the goods in the warehouse. • Answer questions, give advice and offer friendly service to customers. • Suggest value-added and related items to clients to ensure they are returning home with everything they need. • Learn more about new articles on a regular basis. • Be aware of in-store promotions, in-store sales and item locations. • Ensure that retail principles are applied effectively (eg, restocking, labeling, shelving, presentation, etc.). • Stock shelves and displays as directed by modules and layout diagrams. • Ensure inventory accuracy and monitor and report low inventory levels (eg, empty location verification and display capacity analysis). • Report stolen or damaged items to management. • Use computers and RF readers and enter all relevant codes into Canadian Tire systems. • Perform other duties as required.
