Description

A Line Cook at the Russell Inn organizes, prepares and assembles hot and cold food according to recipes for our restaurant, lounge and banquet patrons. Line cooks prepare food a la carte or buffet style, depending on the event/client. Some menu items are cooked from scratch, while others are ordered partially prepared and required final prep and cooking to completion. Our Line Cooks also, -Receive and organize food inventory -Clean and maintain kitchen tools, machines, and equipment -Apply quality standards to food products -Follow safety and sanitation procedures PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA: Interest and ability in cooking Ability to work with speed and dexterity and multi-task effectively Must be able to work shifts including days, evenings and weekends
