Description

Job Summary: The Cook position is a very important position and we are looking for someone with experience and dedication, someone who can handle the high production levels, manage ingredient inventories, and keep the work environment clean and healthy (and happy!). Main duties include (but are not limited to) the following: · measuring, portioning, cuttng, slicing, heating, mixing, and assembling ingredients to create delicious menu items · Preparing food items such as sandwiches, soups, salads, casseroles and other items, to meet customer needs and based on a daily production schedule · Maintaining a recipe book including key items prepared for sale and recreate dishes following house recipes with house standards of taste, texture, temperature and presentation . Planning menus plus utilization of food surpluses leGovers, taking into account probable number of customers, marketing conditions, popularity of various dishes . Lifting up to 50lb and comfortable on your feet for 8+ hours per day · Managing food inventories and preparing weekly re-stocking lists · Maintaining a safe and clean work environment . Compensation: Pay is based on experience level starting at $17/hr plus gratuity, FREE BASIC ACCOMODATION INCLUDED, $500 end of season bonus, access to free and discounted foods.
