Reporting to: Executive Chef, Sous Chef. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following. Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment. Must be a self-motivated, self-directed worker who requires minimal supervision with the ability to multi-task duties and work under pressure. Other duty assigned. Job Qualifications Credentials: Food Handlers Certificate, WHMIS Experience: Experience an asset. Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English Types of Meals/Food Prepared: Breakfasts, Lunches, Salads, Sandwiches, Snacks, Caterings. Cooking and Preparing Skills: Prepare and cook breakfast dishes and other foods, Work with minimal supervision, Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, Rational, Flat top, charbroiler etc.), clean kitchen and work areas, Wash dishes if needed. 6 months experience as a Line Cook preferred. Kitchen Helping Skills: Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Handle and store cleaning products. Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
