Description

Major Responsibilities: All (functional or technical or project management role): • Contribute to the delivery of projects via the development and agreement of customer project • Maximize the project’s profitability, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction • Build and maintain good working relationships with all internal and external contacts • Keep up to date with HCM business and system landscapes Project Manager: • Identify resource requirements throughout the life of the project and communicate these requirements to the Delivery Manager in a timely manner • Manage contractual commitments and budget/expense budget/activity reports, and act as principal liaison point throughout the implementation • In conjunction with Sales and Delivery team, present effective project implementation plans, including resource estimates, to prospective customers, and be party to internal and external sales handovers • Manage consulting staff assigned to the Project Team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet both personal and equipped to meet both personal and business objectives • Accept accountability of own actions and those of the project team • Communicate responsibilities and expectations of the project team through clear, precise and realistic instructions Key Requirements: • Practical experience and proven track record in HCM implementation projects • Knowledge of at least one HCM/HR/ERP system (e.g. PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.) • Ideally, hands-on experience implementing/managing Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM projects and/or other cloud applications • Ideally, certification in one or more Oracle/PeopleSoft HCM areas • Experience with consultancy and customer relationships in a commercial environment. Project Manager: • Use of project management/implementation tools/methodologies (e.g. ASAP, Waterfall, Agile) Education/Experience: • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education + experience. • 5+ years of functional and/or technical experience delivering HCM implementations to clients • Exposure to various HRIS solutions and service delivery models (preferred). Project Manager: • 5+ years’ experience in the role of Project Manager with functional and technical experience in the HR space. Skills: • HRIS background; preferably has knowledge about Canadian payroll and system configuration of one or more HRIS Applications • Willing to travel • Well organized and able to work independently and in a team • Overall understanding of HCM processes Language: Required: Fluent English, both written and spoken word Asset: Fluency in French is advantageous
